These are the french doors at the bottom of the stairs in the
basement. It's done in such a way as to give the illusion that
you are not going down to basement so much as you are going from
the top floor to the main level.
The doors open to a rumpus room and kid's play
room. We've painted the top of the walls in a tan color and hunter
green below. The wallpaper border is of moose by Glen Loates
- very rustic!
There is a lot of light from two very large windows
with deep window wells.
Paul's ladder lamp finds a new home.
